Brown Sugar is known for being an exfoliator, removing the dead cells from the skin, leaving the skin looking fresh an healthy. For lips it is fantastic for helping to remove that dry, cracked skin, leaving them softer and plumper.

How to Make the Coconut & Brown Sugar Lip Scrub

For this recipe you only need very small amounts. It is also dependant on how abrasive you want the scrub to be. You can use less sugar for a gentler scrub.

Simply take some brown sugar and mix with coconut oil. The oil, as mentioned above, is usually solid so you will need to ‘cream’ the sugar into the oil, much like when mixing butter and sugar as you are baking.

Once they are mixed together you can use the scrub morning and night.
